Plant well, place safely

Review each product listing before planting because dimensions, drainage and finish details vary by design.

• Choose a plant whose mature size suits the planter and the intended location.
• If drainage details are not stated, keep the nursery pot inside or use a suitable waterproof liner.
• Use a protective mat or saucer on timber and other moisture-sensitive furniture.
• Place the filled planter on a stable, level surface that can support its total weight.
• Keep planters away from edges, busy walkways and areas accessible to small children or pets.
• Lift from the base; do not carry by rims or decorative projections.
• Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, impact and rapid temperature changes.

Follow the plant’s own watering and light requirements. Stop using any planter that becomes cracked or unstable.
